My name is Krystle Scott, and I am in the Education Specialist Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Fall 2013 and will graduate Spring 2015. I graduated from Fort Valley State University in Dec. 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Infant and Child Development. In May 2008, I started the Urban Accelerated Master's and Certification Program at Georgia State University. I completed this program by the end of my first year of teaching in May 2010 receiving my Master's in Early Childhood Education.
I am currently going in my sixth year of teaching where I teach 4th grade students at R. N. Fickett Elementary School in Atlanta Public School District. My ultimate goal is to become a proficient educator at implementing technology within my classroom and helping others educators to do the same. Due to my success of completing this program, I plan to obtain a job as a Technology Coach or an Educational Technology Specialist.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. As you can see, there are a series of links below the KSU logo that you can visit. Of particular importance is the "standards" link. Under this link, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I am hoping that this site maybe a help to others or even bring enjoyment to view as much as it was for me to create! Thanks for visiting and have a great day!!!
